Traffic Milestone

November 10th, 2008 by peasleer

This blog has now been around for 14 months at this domain, and I hit a milestone sometime in the past week. Other sites may get this in a day, I’m sure, but my total hit count broke 50,000 :)

Total views: 52,379

Busiest day: 3,424

And my top 10 posts:

I’ve learned through this blog that you really can’t predict what people are going to find interesting or useful. Some things that I thought were cool (like resetting your BIOS by setting an invalid checksum flag from a software utility) didn’t catch on as much as I anticipated, some things I wish had gotten more attention didn’t, and some things were insanely more popular than I ever imagined.

All in all, it has been a good experience, and totally worth the $100 a year the domain name and hosting cost. Thanks everyone for reading! I promise not to do another update like this until we hit 100,000 ;)
